A quiet day - Morning Eucharist as normal, with 'O Taste and See' (Vaughan Williams) sung as soprano solo - full choir - sop. solo - full. Someone in the congregation asked for more of the same, afterwards. It was useful to have an organ student to play the introduction, so that we could have our usual organist as conductor, leading to a more unified sound.
No evensong, as there was a Christian Unity Service at the United Reformed Church, with a little gem of an interior - wood panelled, with a gallery. Unfortunately, I have never yet been free to attend a service there, but one day I'd like to see the place in action.
