Magical Transformation of Study

Well I've suddenly remembered that I posted back in December about the state of my study! A few minutes ago I was catching up on some blog entries over at Kathryn's blog and she made a passing comment about her study, and I remembered! And what's more - it's done! I had a load of friends here on New Year's Eve, a number of whom were staying over, so I needed every room in the house available and in a fit state for visitors. Just to be totally honest here - there's still a fair bit of sorting and filing to do (part of my list for this week) but it's all in boxes that are invisibly marked with labels such as "work/church filing", "personal/accounts filing and random junk mail to be shredded", "nice stuff from friends and that, that doesn't have a specific home"... you know the sort of thing? But at least the room is tidy and approaching the space I love to read/think/ponder/plan/write/reflect and be in! I'll post the promised photos later today - when I find my camera. That's the trouble with tidying up - you can never find anything!!
Ok, so here it is then. I'm aware that to the untrained eye, this may not appear to be a very tidy room - but you should have seen it before! And anyway, now it feels again like the place where I enjoy being!

A place to work... and er, hang around the wibsite... and the Ship... and... Hmmm, I'm sitting in this chair right now - and you just can't see me!
A place to pray and ponder
A place to do writing and other stuff that needs a big desk!
I can't quite remember at this point exactly why I was going to bore you with pictures of my study (was it proof that I'd tidied it perhaps?) but anyway - there you have it; and actually I do enjoy seeing where other people blog from!
