Sunday Morning Marathon

Update: Right, I was going to mercilessly press the 'delete' button on this post (having already deleted the post I posted last night saying I wasn't going to delete it haha) but I've decided not to - but to go in and have a good old prune with the garden secateurs (really... how do you spell that?!). Future generations who come by here, dig up the blog and see the comments will then wonder what all the fuss was about... but hey - let's let them wonder! I do want to be quite clear here though that I didn't come up with these (especially those vanished) questions, but they were someone else's random concoction!!

It is before seven on Sunday morning, I am wide awake even though I'm still on holiday so haven't got to get up and out for church, I've got a nice big cuppa tea and so here I am with a meme that I saw at NannyOgg's place! Oh and if you're reading this, consider yourself untagged (haha). Obviously it would be lovely if you want to post all kinds of random comments in the, er... comments. (I'm just trying to decide who out of that lot (I had tagged Dreamer, Auntie Doris, rain, Neil and Steve) might actually do it and who's about the least likely... fancy a sweep on it?) Anyway... right, yes - the questions:

Full First Name: Chelley (well, some people call me that in RL too!)

Middle Name: Not telling you (though it's a nice one and begins with 'A'). I suppose my middle names would be 'of the' around here!

Birthday: Yes, I have one of those, and enjoy it very much! It wouldn't take too much detective work around a certain Ship to find out when it is.

Eyes: Brown/Two/With accompanying glasses

Hair: Variable! Sometimes brown with grey bits, most often dark brown with a lot of red!

Fave colour: Ooh, that's a tough one - Yellow because it's bright and sunny (I like yellow rooms), Dark Blue because I just like it, wear a lot of it and then of course there's Spurs, and Purple - ditto Dark Blue but without the Spurs bit (except when the away kit was a cool purple!).

Day/Night: Day - and I'm a morning/lark type person.

Fave Food: A difficult one that - a lot of my favourite foods I can't eat because I'm on the gluten-free diet (not out of choice!), but out of the things I can eat I'd say roast chicken/roast potatoes/parsnips and chocolate (but not together).

FRIENDS AND LIFE
Do you ever wish you had another name? No, I like mine - though I was slightly put out when Eastenders first began and you-know-who stole it. I do find it rather amusing though that I have a name that is never pronounced well in my own local accent - so I can't say (Mi)Chell(e) (along with most other people round here) it just comes out ... er, I can't work out how to spell the way it comes out - but it has a 'w' sound at the end instead of 'l'!! This particularly amuses me, and irritates my mum, because I got the name in the first place because my mum loved the way my French godfather pronounced his name (Michel). There's quite a difference between the French pronunciation and the Essex/North London one haha! (Sorry, that was a bit longwinded).

Which one of your friends acts the most like you? They all act pretty much like themselves, but if you mean who's the most daft and random of them like me, I'd say V - though actually we're not that alike at all and are almost opposites on the Myers Briggs thing - so actually we're not alike at all! I am also not at all like my other great mate A who is a girly-girl, creative, sews, bakes and all that - and yet she's one of my best mates!

Who's the loudest? I think they might say me, but sometimes I'm really quiet too. Ooh, actually K is the loudest!

Who have you known the longest of your close friends? A - not the one above - but the one I was at Primary school with. Though we don't see each other very often, we keep in touch and she's the one I've known longest. After her is J, who lives in Scotland now :( and we've been friends since Venture Scout days when I was 16 (and I was her bridesmaid years ago - proud grin!). If any of them read this by the way (unlikely) and recognise themselves then I just want to say, thanks for being such great friends - love you all.

Who's the shyest? Dunno - and seeing as most people reading this won't know who I'm going on about anyway, does it really matter!

Are you close to any family members? Yes, all the immediate ones, and some of the extended ones.

What's the best feeling in the world? The moment, after all the hard work and pain, when they put the baby in your arms.

What's the worst feeling? Fear, panic, loneliness - they're all pretty bad.

FINISH EACH SENTENCE:
Let's walk on the: wild side (I said hey babe)!

Let's run through: the autumn leaves (I've never grown out of that one!)

Let's look at the: stars

What a nice: pair of eyes

Where did all the: chocolate go!

Why can't you: shut up!

Silly, little: ? dunno

Tell me: about your muzzer and farzer!

RANDOM
Your Good Luck Charm: Don't have one - faith in God dispenses with that kind of thing!

Person You Hate Most: There isn't anyone I hate I don't think.

Best Thing That Has Ever Happened To You: See birth of TeenSon above (though obviously he wasn't TeenSon then, but BabySon!). The time V (friend above) and her husband bought me a car was pretty cool too!

Fave Ice Cream: Strawberry

Who makes you laugh the most? TeenSon generally, but also Lou and Andy from 'Little Britain' and Russell Brand and Noel Fielding had me nearly wetting myself on the 'Big Fat Quiz of the Year' (which I watched about 4 times with all the repeats - and laughed as much every time!).

What makes you smile? People commenting on my blog(s) and reading the stuff I put and all that (what, a hint - what do you mean???)

WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON...
You touched? TeenSon - a nice hug when he got in yesterday

You talked to on the phone? Big brother of TeenSon's friend to find out when they were getting home.

You hugged? TeenSon

You instant messaged? Can't remember, haven't logged in for ages - but it was probably Dreamer :D

You yelled at? That would probably be TeenSon, but it might be my brother who I yelled at on the phone recently!

Who text messaged you? I'll have a look... the last few from yesterday were: Auntie Doris, VicarBoss, TeenSon, ex-hubby and darling dolphy. :D

And that appears to be the (reduced!) end... well done if you got this far. Perhaps you could say 'hello' and wave in the comments if you managed the marathon - and especially if you're about to run the marathon yourself! I was wondering, about halfway through, what the rather self-centred point of these things was; and then I decided that I actually like reading other people's - especially those who are becoming net-buddies - because it's a good way of getting to know a bit more about someone. So that's why I carried on - for anyone that might be vaguely interested! Now I need another cuppa tea!
