I'm enjoying the last few days of my holiday and this morning went for a lovely wander in the sunshine. You could say we have the best of both worlds here... close enough to pop in and out of London but this gorgeous countryside on the doorstep too. Though I enjoyed a relaxed Sunday morning off, God wasn't forgotten as I drifted along giving thanks, delighting in having so much to appreciate and praying when things on the way prompted me to pray!
Just around the corner from home
On a journey into London on the train one day a particular graffiti tag kept catching my eye - so I decided to pray for the person who'd left their mark that way each time I saw it, all the way in and all the way home! Well, God knew who the tagger was and maybe my prayers made a difference in their life, even if I'll never know!
Looking back at the road I'd just been under
Bench on the bridge - not the most appealing place to stop for a sit down!
"Praise the Lord, O my soul.
I will praise the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live."
