And so to answer some of your questions.
Ever gotten a speeding ticket? Love the accent by the way ;)
Hmmm, unfortunately yes! I have begun stating that ordination is bad for your driving! I'd had a clean licence from the age of 17 to 34 - and then I was ordained, and since then I've had two parking tickets and been done for speeding (flashed by cameras) twice, so I've got 6 points on my licence! (Shakes head in disgust). I would just like to say here though, that I consider myself to be a pretty good and safe driver... on the first occassion I was driving along a hard-to-judge-the-speed road (no signs) and was thinking "Hmmm, is this a 40, or is this a 30?" And as I looked in my mirror there was a flash, which told me it was a 30 and I didn't slow down quick enough!! The other time was not that long ago when my not that old car was chugging back from the coast making some dire noises and just while I was on the outskirts of town, trying to find a safe place to break down, I was flashed by the camera - not paying enough attention to the changes between 60, 40 and 50 round the bypass! I did have other things on my mind though as two minutes later there was a bang - the gearbox had died. Not a good day!

Best place in town to buy a scone?
No idea! Unfortunately I don't get the delightful opportunity of buying scones (pronounced sconns to me by the way!) out as I'm on a gluten free diet so can't eat them unless I make the gluteless ones myself (very unlikely!). Maybe Tesco sell them in their 'free-from' range? If I was 'normal' though (!) and I wanted to eat a scone out, I'd go to Devon or Cornwall and get a proper cream tea... mmmmm!
