Something happened to our old video recorder yesterday evening. It's the one second born, mostly, uses. It no longer plays videos. I suppose that a sane, thoughtful father might wait a few days, while deciding what to do. We do have two other video recorders in the house, after all. But we do seem to have several troubles at present. Wife offered half the purchase price of a new video player/recorder. I walked up to the post office to pay the money into an account (I tend to use cash as little as possible these days). I walked on, past the local electrical store, which had no special offers in the window, to the supermarket, where I knew that there would be a couple of models to buy (Occasionally, our supermarket sells something other than food or household goods).
I prayed about it. There was one that looked suitable. It wasn't a manufacturer I normally go for. It does have extra sockets on the front (if (if!!) we ever buy a video camera, we could connect it). As you've probably guessed, I bought one. Peace returns ...
