Not well. I think that I've got whatever first born had towards the end of last week. Went home early yesterday, and went to bed. Felt better this morning, and here I am, but not sure if I should be.
Feeling more sympathetic towards wife's mother. The place she's in is a nursing home, where she feels that she's being treated as if she is senile. We'll visit her at the weekend. It should be a happier occasion than last week. Her house does need to have something done. There's a phone bill which has to be paid, and which we couldn't find last weekend. Wife was trying to talk to the telephone company, but they were being distinctly unhelpful.
Granny (my mum) is staying with us for a few days. She's looking after first born, whose school is on holiday. Second born's eyes are still sticky. I have the job of applying the eye stuff (it isn't really drops, more of a sort of goo). Whenever he knows it's coming, he protests "eyes better", but they clearly aren't.
