... went to see and hear Donny Osmond last night. Actually, 5 was the wife's estimate; I reckon it was nearer 20 or 30. And I don't know the capacity of the Clyde Auditorium, to know just how many women were there. I think that Donny was genuinely touched by the reception he was given by the Glasgow women. He said that he wouldn't wait 30 years for the next visit.
I enjoyed the concert. It was good-natured. Donny is a pretty good singer, and his musicians were good. I generally preferred the slower tempo songs.
An aside - in view of the skewed gender demographics, the men's loos became ladies' loos for the evening. Men were expected to use the disabled loos. I drank as little as possible.
I'm seeing the doctor about my eye to-morrow morning.
