If there has to be a war, then I suppose that it is right that we should stand by our friends.
I did go into work yesterday, but towards lunchtime I went to have my eyes tested. I told the optician about the soreness in my left eye, and she had a careful look. There is a patch on the cornea which hasn't healed, and the soreness at night is it being torn away. She's given me eye drops, to use last thing at night for a couple of weeks. I've to go back and see her, hopefully to be told that it has healed completely. I'm getting a new pair of glasses, which are costing rather a lot.
