Afternoon tea-break

Reckon that with a clear conscience I can check in, and postpone my afternoon coffee for a few minutes. Not a great day. One of my colleagues is enjoying a late summer holiday, which means that I have to deputise for him. It isn't fun spending most of your time pretending to be someone else.

Found out that the purple case I bought with my new mobile phone was, in fact, a cheap (well, it wasn't actually cheap, but you know what I mean) imitation. What I would like to do is to persuade my handheld computer to talk to my mobile phone, so that, in theory, I can read and send emails when I'm on holiday. But on a real Nokia case, there is an almost transparent window opposite the infrared thingy. On this one, it's covered over. So, I've ordered a real Nokia case, which certainly isn't cheap. To be honest, I'm not sure that I really want to be able to keep up with email while I'm on holiday. It rather defeats the object. It's just the challenge of being able to do it.

It's Friday afternoon. Firstborn will be attending a ballet class later on, and I will, hopefully, be meeting the family to take them home.
