Reading "The Visit" by Adrian Plass. Disturbing, as I guess it's meant to be. Is it true that it is better to give in to temptation, and be forgiven, than to wrestle endlessly with the temptation, and never really seem to gain victory? Not that Adrian has said that explicitly, but I feel that it is implied. Adrian, I know, is fond of the story of the prodigal son.
