A sunny Monday

Not that it was sunny when we had to get up this morning. It's a real downer having to drag yourself out of bed when it's still dark.

This entry will have to contain at least one hyperlink, but I don't know yet what it will be. If there was a web page for Leith WaterWorld, it would be a frontrunner, since we were there on Saturday afternoon, having a good time on the occasion of one of first born's friends. I'm not sure if second born was too taken with the waves, which started up soon after we had arrived, and just when he was getting used to the idea of being in the water. But it was good fun, and I think that he was gaining in confidence as our time in water went by.

Our church doesn't have a web page, yet, either. We (with the exception of wife) were there on Sunday morning. Well, in fact we spent most of the service in the creche, because second born wasn't too keen on the idea of being left. First born normally attends Sunday School, but the first Sunday of the month there is no Sunday School, so she stayed in the creche to help look after second born (at least, that was her view of what was happening). At the start of the intercessions, a messenger is sent to let the creche know to start getting ready to come through into the church, so that we were all there to take Communion. Both first and second born take Communion, which I think is great. I cannot resist passing on, however, what first born whispered to me at the start - "It isn't really Jesus' blood. It's wine, and we're pretending that it's his blood" - out of the mouths of babes and sucklings!

Still no hyperlink in sight. Well, I think the credit should go to Research Machines, since it took me just a phone call lasting 10 minutes this morning (and a credit card) to buy a new home computer. I was phoning them merely to ask the procedure, but the gentleman asked me if I had chosen a specification (which I had, almost), and talked me through (not into, I must emphasise) buying a computer. Looking forward to an easier time connecting from home.
