Unfortunately, the link which was included in yesterday's wiblog isn't working. I am informed that technical problems are responsible.
The daily readings from Scripture Union (in their Encounter with God series) are currently in the book of Job. Somehow, Job has emerged, for me, anyway, as a more sympathetic character than before. I really feel that Job has something to teach us, that we should stand firm, clinging both to our own experience of God, and to the conviction that he will see us through, whatever. It is tempting, when the voices of Christian counsellors tell us "this is what God is like", to think "I'm going mad", and to abandon what we know to be true in God's dealings with us.
Enough. Perhaps I'm having withdrawal symptoms while the EwG board is offline.
