For the non-appearance yesterday of this wiblog. The combination of a morning site visit and afternoon desk duty conspired to reduce the lunchbreak to barely enough to consume lunch in.
Second born stayed at home this morning. He's had a sore tummy for a couple of days. He struggled in to nursery yesterday, but to-day wife is taking a day off to look after him. First born goes to after school club on a Friday. She tells me that she isn't entirely happy with this arrangement, because of "the boys". The leader assures me, however, that our first born is well able to hold her own.
It'll soon be Burns' Night. The breakfast / after school club had a poem on the wall, not by the Bard himself, but modelled on one of his poems. It was entitled "Tae a Fert". If you really want a translation, you will have to ask me to send it by email, I'm afraid ...
