I was meant to be attending a training session at 09:30 this morning. I managed to get in early, with time to spare, and the nursery phoned to say that second born wasn't well. They'd been trying to contact wife, but, as it turned out, she'd been delayed. It seemed to me, after talking to wife, that I should drive to the nursery, pick up second born, then on to wife's work, and take them both home. We live out of town, so by the time the round trip was completed, there wasn't much left of the morning.
An aside. I think that the way the media are treating Cherie Blair is appalling.
