Weary, weary

Just for the record, I am not a fan of Christmas. I can remember when it was exciting to get presents, but now, it's worse than an end-of-term exam. Just when I'm desperately tired, and longing for some rest, I have to keep asking myself, have I got a present for this person, or that person?

Another Christmas party yesterday afternoon. Santa himself put in an appearance (how does he do it? On Saturday morning he was in our local Co-op, being photographed with youngsters (don't tell Edinburgh City Council). On Sunday afternoon he was being dragged into an Old Town happy place.)

Perhaps this is a good time to be reading through Revelation with SU's EwG. I, too, like Morris Stuart's notes. He doesn't pull his punches. Recently, I've had a real sense of being "on the edge". There's an "either/or" issue here. You're either with Jesus, or you're against him. You're either building up, or you're tearing down. And there will be a judgement.
