And not many people came into work. But some of us are still about. This may be a good opportunity for me to wish all of my readers a Happy Christmas. The next lunch break will be on January 6th. If I can, however, I shall be online at odd times over the Christmas and New Year break.

In "How to Write Poetry", Paul Janeczko advises (quoting Myra Cohn Livingston) Nothing takes the place of keeping a journal ... She goes on to say nor is there any substitute for observation ...
