Wife and I were on holiday to-day. After a visit to the Big W, we headed down the coast. A picnic lunch in the car (it was still chilly), then down to the beach (for which we were unprepared, having intended to go elsewhere). Daughter and son seemed to be enjoying playing in the sand at the water's edge. A walk further along the beach, to examine a couple of rock pools. Daughter slipped a couple of times, which may explain her ultimate verdict - she didn't enjoy the beach.
Called in at the Bethany shop for a change of clothing for son and daughter, then home via the local supermarket. Not bad for a day's outing.
