... a potentially exhausting day. Took daughter to see the consultant oncologist to find out the result of her recent MRI scan. What she has on her shoulder is, indeed, the surface manifestation of a plexiform neurofibroma. It would be difficult to remove, but the good news is that it poses no immediate problem. It may be up to daughter to decide, later on, whether she is prepared to live with it.
Son has diarrhoea. In fact, he has had it since Saturday morning. Seeing the doctor to-morrow, along with wife, who thinks that she may need to be signed off work with stress.
Daughter has ballet this afternoon. She went to breakfast club as normal this morning, then I picked her up from school at 10:00. I've just delivered her back to school, almost in time for the afternoon session, and will be picking her up again in a hour's time.
