I wouldn't describe the experience of travelling in our buses as being stress-free. But, it is true, I can look out of the window at frustrated drivers, and feel just a little smug.
This is the half-way point. I think that some of my experiences will have to be relayed to those who are trying to put pressure on us to leave our cars at home. For example, it is more difficult for tall people to travel by bus, when the seat pitches are too small. And it is infuriating, as this morning, to be running well for time, only to be held up because the connecting bus runs so seldom that it just means I have to wait longer at the bus stop.
But it is nice to have a use for my (rather peculiar looking) solar-powered radio headset. Why don't buses have sunroofs, I wonder?
