At the risk of boring everyone - we did have a problem once before with the car radio, when we didn't know the security code, and it had to be sent away to be fixed. My guess is that they didn't reset the counter which keeps track of the number of attempts to enter the code, so that this time around it went straight to being locked.
A beautiful day, and last night was a better night. What we need, of course, is several good nights in a row.
