I don't know if they deserve a plug

But I suppose that they sell them, in all shapes and sizes. We're on holiday to-day - daughter is off school, and both wife and I are off work. We celebrated by visiting B & Q this morning. [I often refer to them as B's and Q's, because our old church, which we went to yesterday, as it happens, is known as P's and Gs.] I was looking for a couple of small items which I need to sort the connections to our washing machine (which the deliverers from Comet refused to plumb in, because some aspect of it didn't conform to regulations - in retrospect that seems to me a cop-out - they had agreed to plumb in our washing machine, and they should have done so, even if there was extra work involved). Trying to buy this sort of thing always leaves me frustrated and unhappy - I know roughly what I need, but I don't know the jargon - perhaps some people who use computers feel the same.

I wanted to buy some snowdrop bulbs, but I was put off by the fact that there was a drawer where there should have been packs on offer, but it was cleared out. We have bought a little juniper bush - it should look good doing sentinel duty alongside our heather garden.
