Daniel Goleman (Emotional Intelligence) is talking about the essential role played by feelings in decision making. Reminds me of those evangelists, who trotted out a picture of a train made of faith, fact, and feelings when you complained that you didn't feel anything. Seems to me, now, that they were covering up for the fact that you didn't feel anything because nothing had happened.
Sorry, a but glum, though it's a glorious day outside - not quite the autumn spectacular we were being promised, but nice enough.
