My normal weekday morning routine is nowadays to take daughter to breakfast club, then on my return to the house, to make myself breakfast before setting off for work. Daughter's school is nearer to our house than the breakfast club is, so her route to school involves backtracking along the route we take to breakfast club (and the start of my route to work).
This morning, as I drove past daughter's school, the convoy of children from the breakfast club was just arriving, so I saw daughter, rather glumly trudging along. I didn't attract her attention (driving past the school as the parents are dropping off their children is quite demanding). I don't think that she was unhappy, just having some difficulty with her schoolbag.
Has anyone come across bookcrossing.com? An intriguing idea ...
