Various people have regaled me recently with horrendous stories of what (presumably) children have been doing with fireworks. This evening, in our town, there is to be a public firework display. Daughter has been told about it, and has said that she wants to go. Wife is not happy. I am willing to take daughter, and to make sure that she's safe, although I'd prefer not to go out at all. To-morrow is a big day - daughter is to have an MRI - so I'd rather have a quiet evening to get ready.
