Daughter and son appear to have joined with a boy in a game involving sticks, and son was poked in the eye. He's seen the doctor, who says that no damage has been done. Wife was impressed with the helpfulness of our local health centre staff.
Daughter went to a pantomime along with the Rainbows yesterday evening. Unfortunately, on her return home, and going off to sleep, she was sick. We still have no hot water (but, thanks to Scottish Gas we do have cold water and heating), which made cleaning up difficult. This morning, by heating up water in pans, we were able to give daughter a reasonable bath.
I seem to have some kind of cold, or possibly just my nasal passages irritated by dust raised by the engineer on Monday. But we're coping, and hoping for an enjoyable day on Saturday, with an outing planned.
