On Christmas Eve, along with other guests from the Carberry Christmas Houseparty, we went to see Cinderella at the Brunton Theatre (faithful readers may recollect that we regretfully abandoned plans to go along ourselves). And we were sitting in the front row in the middle (daughter was able to let Prince Charming know that there was another girl who might be able to try on the glass slipper). I rather liked the Fairy Godmother.
Carberry proved a good choice. Perhaps the days were too long for families with young children (we were the only one), but we had a marvellous time, and are already planning to go again next year (DV).
