On Thursday, wife and I meet with the doctor to find out the results of daughter's scan, and what they think needs to be done about them. Meanwhile, we just try to carry on as normal. There's a good Scottish drizzle falling just now, persuading me to keep short my lunchtime walk. Son purchased an umbrella on Saturday (on one of the best days, weatherwise, of the year so far). He was happy to be able to use it to-day, though didn't seem to understand that you're supposed to hold it so that there is a gap between the canopy of the umbrella and the top of your head.
