Now that blogging is mainstream, or seems to be, it occurs to me how privileged I am to belong to this particular corner of the blogosphere. I can only guess at the technical effort which not only maintains these pages, but moves forward along interesting and useful paths. And there is a community spirit evidenced here, so that the total goodness of this site exceeds, I believe, the sum of its parts.
Enough! The meal on Saturday was a success, enjoyed, more or less, by all. On Sunday, I gave blood. Daughter accompanied me, not to give blood, but simply to keep me company.
