We had a pretty good week-end. Daughter and I went on a Saturday morning expedition to Asda in search of an Abigail bag (one of her classmates had told her she'd seen one). Quite surprised at how busy Asda was at 10:00 in the morning. And quite impressed with the helpfulness of the store helpers, although we didn't find what we were looking for.
Retreated to the big W, just a couple of hundred metres away, but a tenth as busy, for a Burger King coffee, and then a look round. Me refusing to spend much money, but we got a few things, and came away reasonably happy.
