Of course, it's an entirely personal viewpoint, but reading the closing chapters of 2 Kings, with disaster approaching, has helped me to accept that daughter may have to endure some unpleasantness, as advised by the doctors. I don't know if I can entirely swallow the consultant's 'win-win' scenario, where the radiotherapy does its job, and she tolerates it well, but I may be a pessimist by nature. Hope, with faith, and love, lasts.
