Our progress towards the treatment room seemed quicker than usual. We walked the curving corridor (technically the 'maze'), to be greeted with "Surprise!" The machine was decorated with balloons, there were party poppers, and a rather interesting looking package lay on the floor.
Daughter enjoyed her send-off, and son didn't seem to mind too much (he did receive some money to spend on a birthday present).
