The ophthalmologist conducted a sight test in the corridor yesterday afternoon (the consulting room wasn't big enough). Daughter's sight has improved significantly, probably as a result of the anti-inflammatory drug she's been taking. Not quite time to celebrate, but perhaps a glimmer of light in the darkness.
And son, eventually, slept well last night, after waking a couple of times, apparently distressed by a nightmare.
Maybe the Co-op's line-up of fairly traded wines has changed - I found a white Cape Trinity this evening, which nicely accompanied a fish supper.
