Making the whole day a struggle. And encountered some frustration at work, to which I am postponing my response until to-morrow. Not sure whether this is a good tactic. In theory it avoids precipitate action which I may regret, but it prolongs the agony, and doesn't necessarily mean that I may make a better decision. In fact, I do believe that it's probably better that my immediate thoughts on the matter weren't made the substance of a reply.
To-morrow, son has an operation to straighten his thumb.
