The subtext to the previous entry - we have a special interest in "When Your Face Doesn't Fit". In fact, we were nearly in it. It was about the challenges of having Nf 1, and we were volunteering to be involved when daughter's 'problem' appeared (about a year ago), and we decided that we had enough to cope with without being followed around by tv cameras. And so I was setting up the video recorder, unable to avoid watching what happened to be on at the time - which happened to be people fighting and arguing on "River City".

I have yet to see the programme - but, in the end, wife watched it as it happened, and it gave her a sleepless night. It seems that, in our day, when appearance is everything, the programme makers chose to concentrate on just one aspect of Nf 1. Though I do need to watch it - there is an issue which we have almost certainly to deal with one day - in fact, have already begun to investigate - and regarding which wife and I, I think, have differing views.
