Bank holiday weather? Except that we (wife and I) don't get a holiday this Monday - we were off last week. Daughter is seeing the neurologist, which means that I need to go into work, come home, take daughter to the hospital (which is near my work), and then, probably, with daughter, go back into work for an hour or so.
Men's prayer breakfast this morning - I was to provide food for both body and soul - except that, while I remembered yesterday evening to buy what could be bought yesterday (son came with me to the supermarket, which was fun), and I bought rolls and scones from the baker this morning, I left behind the stuff I had bought the previous evening, which I remembered when I got there, so I had to make a further round trip to collect what I hadn't brought the first time. Fortunately, just as I was about to set off for home again, a car drew up, so they were able to make a start with the preparations. And my friends appreciated a reading of Psalm 2 from The Message.
The sun has just appeared, so things are maybe looking up.
