Well, it would be nice to think. Actually, my wife, who works closer to the centre of Edinburgh than I do, is quite worried about what next week is going to be like. Spare a thought for the people who have to carry on living an ordinary life while all this is going on around them. And, of course, what's a few days inconvenience compared with what people suffer in various parts of the world? Even so, it isn't going to be easy.
