B is for Belter

'Belter' is slang for a native of the town where I live, just outside Edinburgh. Several survey people approached me on the day, and then lost interest when I told them my postcode. It was slightly strange, being on my home turf, when so many had come so far especially. You can see the Meadows from one of the hospitals where daughter has received treatment. The picture, by the way, is a self-portrait.
