This afternoon, I embarked on a task which must be about 6 months overdue. My previous attempt ended in disaster, with me staying late to rebuild someone's machine (note: on our job, to rebuild a computer means to reinstall the operating system). Thankfully, this time, things seem to have gone fine.
I suppose that me working on somebody's computer is like the engineer coming to fix our boiler; strangely, in both sets of circumstances, I am in awe of the other guy.
