My new tactic to prevent the kind of cataclysmic argument which happened, unfortunately, nearly two weeks ago, is to go for a walk. It isn't the most enticing prospect at 7:00 in the evening, but tonight Young Celebrity and Son elected to come with me. We quite enjoyed using torches to light our way in the darker parts of the route.
The extra hour alluded to last week was found at the start rather than in the middle of the morning. Previously, we went swimming, then had breakfast, and then went to church. This morning we had breakfast first. And because the car is still in the garage having all the things done which its MOT said that it needed having done, we took the bus to church (and, of course, back). It all worked out nicely. Still a bit more effort to do it all of a Sunday morning than I, ideally, would like, but we managed.
