I was the only person on the top deck of the bus, between Prestonpans and Tranent, when there was an almighty bang, and the quarterlight in the window just a couple of feet behind me and on the opposite side of the bus smashed. I think that somebody must have thrown a stone at the bus. I told the driver when I got off, just a couple of stops further on.
