My ears have a habit of filling with wax; last year on holiday, I actually went to the local GP surgery to have an ear syringed. Currently, I'm trying to soften the wax with almond oil - but the immediate consequence, I guess, is that the wax swells - creating an earplug effect. So the world, aurally, just now, is lopsided (because I do just one ear at a time).
