Lessons

Thanks (especially to Ian) for the prayers. I think that the lesson may be to make clear earlier when I disagree with something. I may give the impression of being always negative, but it may prevent situations arising where people think that I have agreed to something, when I haven't. When the thing to which (I suppose) I gave silent assent is not the thing which I am being asked to do.

It would be nice to have a restful week-end to look forward to, but the fact of the matter is that the garden has been neglected for some weeks (holidays being partly to blame), and so the grass is crying out, "Cut me! Cut me!" and the hedge is crying out, "Trim me! Trim me!" and the weeds are crying out, "Uproot us! Uproot us!"
