Not sleeping, but just trying for a couple of days deliberately to take things a bit easier; the trouble is, as soon as you slow down, you realise how tired you are, and you panic. I have done some work - I started to trim the conifer hedge in our garden, but I have also listened to a (double) CD of Beethoven's Missa Solemnis. The final movement - Agnus Dei - has real drama - I think that Beethoven did believe in the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.
To-morrow should be a holiday, but daughter has a hospital appointment, so we're going on a bus safari into Edinburgh; son is keen to visit Toys R Us.
