I've been signed off work (by the doctor) for a week. I have to go in to-day to see my boss; he knows that I was seeing the doctor, and that I expected to be taking some time off. I'm hoping that he will understand that I am not ready for a gruelling hour of trying to sort out the whys and wherefores; I need to let him know that I shan't be around, that I shall be checking my email, but not much else. I can think of at least one set of emails which I should forward to him to deal with; but as I am officially signed off, although I am going in to my place of work, I am not going in to work.
