in a place called St Gilles Croix de Vie (in France), near where we stayed, for our holiday / it turned out to be an unexpectedly serious holiday, with talks morning and evening / the place (Le Pas Opton) is run by Spring Harvest / thankfully, the regime was not as intense as I've heard the main events can be ... actually, I appreciated the ministry / also the lively worship / and the resort was certainly a good place to be with a family ... back to work / trying (with some difficulty) to carve out a new role / things went quite badly wrong, a few weeks before we went on holiday / the immediate crisis is now past (I believe) / but now I am finding it difficult to fit in / and to contribute effectively / we are trying to arrange appropriate support (recognising my Asperger's) / but it never seems to be straightforward ...
