not quite what I expected

basically, the project worker I met with the week before last said to me that he didn't think that his organisation could help me (I think that he was trying to say that I appeared to be coping better than the people he usually dealt with) / that the onus lies with my employer to make reasonable adjustments / which is fine, but I could do with someone helping me to work out what, in my situation, is reasonable ...

He did make suggestions / speak with my union, contact an advocacy organisation / but, when I get the opportunity, I think that I need to speak again with my manager / there is a process taking place, which (I've been told) will involve an external organisation advising us (my employer, and myself, I guess) / and guiding us towards these magical reasonable adjustments ...

I have attended one session of the 'managing stress at work' course / and found it helpful / but I don't feel that I'm significantly further forward in all this ...
