I've been thinking about how the poems in "Cold Night Lullaby" tell a story (although I doubt whether I'd have been able to work it out if I hadn't heard it narrated by Karine Polwart) - the thinking perhaps reinforced by Colin Mackay's telling of his life story in "Jacob's Ladder" - and applying that thinking to the practice of blogging - where, I guess, we, more or less consciously, tell a story, usually as it happens.
And that leads me into thinking how as Christians we are responsible for telling a story. I wonder if we are mistaken when we try to persuade other people to adopt our story - better just to be faithful to the story as we understand it ...
