Denominational blogging

I am now an Anglican blogger. Well, to be honest, I am 'one who comments on Anglican blogs' - a category which may well have been created just for me, after I commented plaintively on the Cartoon Blog. I have been an Anglican. I am now Church of Scotland. I doubt whether it would be worthwhile trying to bring together Church of Scotland bloggers. I don't suppose that I'm the only one, but there probably aren't many of us.

Actually, I reckon that blogging (and reading blogs) has helped me considerably through the minefield that is the various denominations in the Christian church. Perhaps living for the first 18 years of my life in the west of Scotland wasn't such a good idea. Famously sectarian; although one of the good features of a certain primary school teacher (whom I mostly remember nowadays for his fondness for the belt - which I can speak more of if people want me to) was that he made a point of saying to us that it was not clever to choose which football team to support on the basis of what kind of Christian you were. But it's hard to climb out of the prejudices acquired as a child.
