The new wibsite is much more upfront (it seems) about how many posts people have made. Serendipitously, my first post here was my 999th on the wibsite, making this one the 1000th. Cause for some celebration, I guess.
To be honest, any attempt that I make here to indicate how helpful the wibsite has been for me personally over the past few years will fall woefully short of the mark. I am deeply appreciative, of those who have maintained this place, and of those who make up this community. I tend, these days, to be somewhat suspicious of the phrase 'a work of God', but in my better moments I do discern something quite special going on here.
So, where now? I have some hope that a particular personal battle is now behind me (I wish to say no more than that). And that I can move forward, somehow. We shall see ...
